How does booking work?
You can contact us via the booking feature online to tell us more about your event. We will then contact you via email to discuss further event details and solidify your date/time. Deposit required.

How does the picnic set-up work?
You chose a time and location and we will arrive 1hr-1.5 hrs before to have everything set-up upon your arrival. We come back at the agreed time to clean everything up after your event is over!

Can you just purchase add-ons without the picnic?
Yes, depending on the specific add-on they are available with out having to book a picnic.

What about the weather?
Unfortunately the weather is out of our control. While rare, we sometimes have to move locations or change dates due to the bad weather. We prefer to move the event inside your home or indoor space. We will always try to accommodate last minute changes. If for some reason we can not change/reschedule you will get 50% of your deposit refunded.

How does payment work?
A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking. Until that is made, the time slot is available for anyone to book! The remaining % payment is due no later than 1 day prior to your event. You may also choose to pay for the picnic in one installment.

Cancellation policy?
You can cancel/reschedule your reservation date for a full deposit refund one time, up to 72 hours before your event. If within 72 hours, the deposit is non-refundable. Once the picnic is set-up we cannot reschedule or cancel.

Can I bring my own food/drink?
You are welcome to bring any of your own food/drink to the picnic. We offer restaurant pick-up as an option as well.

What about alcohol?
Chicago’s Municipal Code prohibits bringing alcohol into any public park/beach setting. On private property alcohol is allowed.
